Trustee Chair Professorship


President Hitt and Provost Waldrop have informed Dr. Shah that in recognition of his outstanding performance the UCF Trustee Chair Professorship for the five-year period 2012-2017 has been granted to him. Dr. Shah received strong support from both the faculty review committee and the academic administrators who reviewed his file.

The UCF Trustee Chair Professorship is a multi-year appointment awarded to faculty members with extraordinary record of accomplishment in the three primary areas of academic endeavor: teaching, research, and service. The objective of this appointment is to recognize and celebrate outstanding performance with a title and resources commensurate with the faculty member's accomplishments.
