Post-Doc Positions at UCF
Two post-doc positions are immediately available at the Computer Vision Lab, University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando, FL. The work deals with human activity recognition, video indexing, UAV video analysis, etc.
The UCF Computer Vision group () is one of the most active groups in the world and is involved in research related to video surveillance and monitoring, visual tracking, video understanding, human activity recognition, object detection and recognition, UAV video analysis, etc.
UCF is the 5th largest university in the US with over 49,000 students and is strategically situated in one of the nation's most dynamic metropolitan areas. In addition to being the nation's center for entertainment and entertainment technology, the Orlando area is one of the most advanced high-tech areas in the Southeast, and hosts stalwarts such as Lockheed-Martin, Siemens, the Naval Training Systems Center, NASA Kennedy Space Center, Harris Corporation, Boeing, Oracle, ATI-Research, Electronic Arts Systems, and all the industries in the Central Florida Research Park. Orlando is at the center of Florida's High-Tech Corridor, home to thousands of new and emerging high-tech companies. Growth in Orlando is fueled by year-round excellent weather, beautiful natural scenery with beaches on two coasts, and an enviable quality of life obtained at a low cost.
The Computer Vision Lab is housed in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), which has moved into a new 100,000 square-foot building, with state-of-the-art laboratories and an attractive environment for faculty-student interaction.
