Instructions for Poster Presentations

Timing: There will be two poster sessions per day: morning (8:30am-10:30am) and afternoon (1:45-3:45pm). Posters in the morning sessions should be mounted between 7:45am and 8:30am and unmounted by 1:00pm. Posters in the afternoon session should be mounted between 1:00pm and 1:45pm and unmounted by 6:00pm. The posters not unmounted in time will be discarded as we need to make room for the next session posters.

Poster boards: Each poster board is 4 feet (1.22m) high by 8 feet (2.44m) wide. Mounting material will be provided.

Tables, chairs, etc: There will no power supply and/or tables near the posters. If you need a chair or table by your poster, please contact the local arrangements chair Kenrick Mock (afkjm@uaa.alaska.edu).

Meeting room: You can find the floorplan of the meeting spaces here. The poster sessions will take place in the Summit Hall at the Eagan Convention Center.

Wireless ethernet: Wireless ethernet connectivity will be available throughout the building, including the session rooms.
Instructions for Oral Presentations

Oral presentations will be 21 minutes each, including questions and
followup; timing will be strictly enforced.

Presenters are advised to
prepare talks of about 17-18 minutes' duration, allowing 3 minutes for
questions, followup, and laptop connection and disconnection.

If you prefer to use an overhead projector (transparencies), please
contact one of the conference organizers at your earliest convenience,
but no later than Monday, June 23, as special arrangements may be
necessary.
