I worked under Dr. Mubarak Shah and his student, Imran Saleemi, as part of the Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program at UCF during the summer 2009.
We have developed a method for discovering motion patterns in a scene observed by a static camera. We use unsupervised learning of dense optical flow without a dependency on complex object tracking systems. The resulting probabilistic model is suitable for tasks such as prediction of object motion and detection of anomalous motion.
The following files are weekly presentations that track my progress throughout the summer.
