About Me

I am a rising senior at the University of Maryland College Park, majoring in computer engineering and mathematics. I was born and brought up in the Washington DC metropolitan area. Prior to attending this REU, I have had various software engineering jobs, including enterprise development at ITT, UMIACS and Prism Microsystems. However, I enjoy working on the more quantitative side of computer science, which is particularly why I chose to delve into computer vision for the summer.

Outside of academics, I like to play basketball and pool, work out and read books on my Kindle. I am a resident assistant at UMCP, a thoroughly enjoyable vocation because of the frequent interactions, a refreshing change of pace from my previous desk jobs. I've recently developed an interest in the financial markets an enjoy maintaining a personal portfolio.
